Thank you for your interest in the Nicholas School.

Our Admissions team is here to help you explore and decide whether the Master of Environmental Management (MEM), Master of Forestry (MF) or Duke Environmental Leadership Master of Environmental Management (DEL-MEM) is right for you.

Events hosted by the Nicholas School:

    • Virtual Information Sessions: Join Nicholas School admissions staff to learn about our professional master's degree programs, the admission process, career and professional development opportunities, and the Nicholas School community. We strongly recommend attending one of these sessions before submitting your application.

    • Virtual Admissions Office Hours: Starting in mid-October and continuing through the December 15 application deadline, Nicholas School admissions staff host regularly scheduled drop-in office hours to answer questions and provide support. Unlike information sessions, office hours do not include a presentation; please join at any time during the scheduled session.

    • Open Houses: These events are an opportunity to engage with Nicholas School community members beyond our virtual programming. Whether in Washington, DC or on our Durham campus, we look forward to sharing more about Duke Environment with you.

Events Nicholas School staff will be attending:

    • Graduate School and Career Fairs: Nicholas School staff will join a variety of fairs hosted by colleges and universities. Students at these institutions should check with the relevant office on their campus about registration procedures.

    • Conferences: Nicholas School staff attend a handful of professional conferences each year. Some of these events have graduate school and/or career fairs for their conference attendees, and others offer networking opportunities to connect with prospective students.
